![]() ![]() So tell me, where in the world is there an approximately 6 oz burger offered for $17? Was the burger, yes. The burger was $17, so yes of course, $8.50 was the 1/2 price cost. Of course we were charge $7.50, which is slightly above average for small salad prices anywhere. Nowhere in this area or even Seattle do restaurants charge $15 for a small Caesar salad (just salad, not protein adder). This 1/2 price menu is nothing more than the routine sales ploy of jacking up prices then advertising half off. The food is greatly improved from my last visit.but beware. I could understand this refusal if i was looking for something of greater value at a lesser price. What I didn't understand was why I could order from the full price food menu, but could not pay full price for a premium mixed drink. I must say that this is the first time any establishment has refused more money to fulfill a simple request. I asked if I could pay FULL price for a different drink and was told no. The setting is beautiful and the service was good. Happy Hour supposedly serves 1/2 price drinks and 1/2 price special 4-6pm food menu. My husband and I went with some friends on Saturday for Happy Hour. As a local resident, let's just say that the first experience left much to be desired. It has been a few years since I have eaten at the Fireside. In all: Very nice, and well worth a visit for breakfast, brunch or lunch. It was a really big bottle too so it came with us in the car after the friendly waiter found a stopper for it. I'd asked for sparkling and got still, so was mildly disappointing, but not really the end of the world. A larger bowl of the same: $8 An espresso served with lemon rind: $2 The only thing that seemed expensive was the (excessively large) bottle of San Pellegrino water, which was $5. I'm not sure if prices in the evening are high or something (a lot of reviewers complain about the prices) but we found it very very reasonable - cheap in fact! A cup of delicious clam chowder: $6 (inc fresh bread and olive dip). It came with a small French stick, which seemed oven-fresh (warm and beautifully textured). Creamy but light and bursting with flavour. I had the clam chowder, and it was absolutely delicious. The setting is idyllic so we decided to have a spot of very light lunch. ![]() ![]() Located within the Port Ludlow Golf Course, these homes offer high-quality construction methods and materials to complement their picturesque golf course, landscape and mountain views. We stopped by while passing through.
